This requires utilizing eight fibers (40GBASE-SR4) or 20 fibers (100GBASE-SR10) terminated in the multifiber connector MPO.<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>IEEE 802.3bm<\/strong> was published in March 2015 and defines the second generation of 100 GbE using four full-duplex data streams of 25 Gbit\/s.
