Dell’Oro Group released a report about Ethernet Data Center Switch recently, Ethernet Switch \u2013 Data Center 5-Year Forecast Report. Based on the report, the group mentions that Front-end Networks Will Account for More than $100B in Data Center Switch Sales Over the Next Five Years.\"\"<\/p>\n

During the next 5 years to 2028, about 100M shipments of 800G and 1.6Tbps switch ports will be delivered to the data center for the front-end networks. and means double the quantity for the AI infrastructure back-end network development.<\/p>\n

However, the demand will be driven by the migration of the back-end network to 800G bps and 102.4Tbps-based switch deployments. the demand for 800G and 1.6Tbps will start from 2025\/2026.
