Using Point-to-Point Cabling Connecting LC Duplex to LC Duplex

This scenario is suitable for point-to-point cabling, typically applied in rack-level interconnection scenarios. It is designed to meet the direct connection requirements of devices within the same physical cabinet. However, this architecture has spatial limitations. When devices are distributed across different functional areas of the data center or are geographically far apart, it is recommended to adopt more optimized cabling solutions.

An 800G OSFP 2FR4 optical module can connect to a peer 800G OSFP 2FR4 optical module via 2 duplex LC single-mode fiber patch cables.

An 800G OSFP 2FR4 optical module can connect to a peer 400G QSFP-DD FR4 optical module via 2 duplex LC single-mode fiber patch cables.
