The TYPE-81M series mass fusion splicer with compact and portable design, and makes a highly accurate and reliable fiber fusion splicer. the fiber splicer achieves splice time of approximately 14 seconds for 12-core ribbon fiber and heat shrink time of approximately 45 seconds with 40mm sleeve for 12c.
Compared with the old version welding machine, the type-81M with dual heat shrink ovens which a.c built onto the splicer to increase the heating efficiency. Automatic fiber count detection and automatic arc compensation function enable to automatically select suitable splice program for the fiber being used prior to fusion splicing.
A touch screen is available on 4.1 inch TFT color LCD monitor. An operator can just touch icons on the monitor to work with the splicer, which makes splicing operation more user-friendly, The TYPE-81M12 has drip proof and dust proof performance equivalent to IP52. Rubber shook pads are equipped with the splicer to protect it from drop impact.
